Bill Gibian Decoys
ORIGINAL, HAND-CARVED WILDFOWL
IN THE OLD TRADITION

Each month, we will feature a different example of Bill's work, and when possible, get his personal recollections and insights on its creation.

November 2011

This year, at the Easton Waterfowl Festival, there will be a rare opportunity to bid on one of Bill's finest creations. A museum quality piece, which is lot #402 in the Guyette and Schmidt auction, features a Red Tail Hawk with Coral and King snakes. Estimate $5000 to $8000. Don't miss out on perhaps one of the finest wildlife dioramas ever to hit the market.

There is also a stunning sleeping Mallard Drake (lot#201), and a large Curlew, with a two-piece neck (lot#656).
